It’s been reported that the Union Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is considering renaming the country, and a fresh resolution for this may be presented during the Special Session of Parliament, scheduled for September 18 – 21.
The speculation around this issue intensified when the invitations for the G20 dinner, set for September 9, referred to the President as the ‘President of Bharat’ instead of ‘President of India.

For the 1964 World Sportscar Championship Shelby prepared five roadsters for the Division III class that competed against the Ferrari 250 GTO, Jaguar E-Type. These supported the new Cobra Daytona Coupe throughout many legs of the season.
To satisfy FIA requirements, Shelby had to modify the Championship cars. They were fitted with wider flares, twin oil-cooler scoops, a more canted front window and characteristic dents in the trunk lid to clear the FIA suitcase.

California Gov. Newsom says LA freeway structural fire likely arson
California Gov. Gavin Newsom issued a state of emergency after a fire forced part of Interstate 10 near Los Angeles to close down Saturday. Later on Monday the governor said the cause was likely arson. Newsom told reporters that fire investigators "made a preliminary determination" and said "there was malice intent."
As of late Monday, the section of the highway remains closed and officials had not put a timetable on when the reopening process might begin.
