Gartic Phone is a browser game based on the telephone game. The player and up to 29 of their friends take turns drawing and writing sentences, trying to create animations or draw a story.
The modes include:
In Normal, they players write a sentence and then draw, then they write a sentence for another person's drawing, in which someone will have to recreate that drawing based on their sentence.
Knock-Off shows the player someone else's drawing, and they have to try and copy it from memory.
In Secret, all of the drawings and sentences are hidden during the game.
Animation is where the players take turns trying to animate scenes.
Icebreaker forces the players to play with just one sentence and only that sentence to base their drawing off of.
In Score, the players need to try and keep the same meaning in their drawings and sentences.
No Rush is a mode where the timer only starts to tick when a majority of the players in the lobby press done.
Speedrun is where the players have less and less time to draw each round.
The Sandwich mode is where the players write a sentence then keep drawing until the end, then they describe the last drawing.
Crowd is better for larger groups because it makes turns faster and fewer.
Movie is like Animation, but each players draws two drawings for the animation.
