Fans of Valorant have finally got a look at the game's seventeenth agent. In what many came to know as Deadeye, the Sentinel, in fact, called Chambers, has now got his full reveal. Unfortunately, the agent will not be released with Episode 3 Act 3 as previously planned, with Riot announcing a two-week delay to his introduction.
Chamber was designed with the idea of creating someone "that bunkers down and holds a location by getting frags,” John Goscicki, Character Producer, explained. He can perfectly hold down a site with his pistol/ult and gadgets. Here are the complete details about Chamber, including its release date, abilities and more.
Chamber release date
After a delay of two weeks, Chamber will release on 16th November in the game. He is a Sentinel, and while creating him, Riot took a lot of inspiration from the archetype of “the gentleman assassin".
Chamber's abilities
(C) Trademark
PLACE a trap that scans for enemies. When a visible enemy comes in range, the trap counts down and then destabilizes the terrain around them, creating a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.
(Q) Headhunter
ACTIVATE to equip a heavy pistol. ALT FIRE with the pistol equipped to aim down sights.
(E) Rendezvous
PLACE two teleport anchors. While on the ground and in range of an anchor, REACTIVATE to quickly teleport to the other anchor. Anchors can be picked up to be REDEPLOYED.
(X) Tour de Force
ACTIVATE to summon a powerful, custom sniper rifle that will kill an enemy with any direct hit. Killing an enemy creates a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.
Chamber tips and tricks
As mentioned by John Goscicki, Chamber's gameplay revolves around highly lethal, pinpoint accuracy. He leverages his custom arsenal to hold the line and pick off enemies from afar.
He can prove to be a deadly agent if used by the player wisely. Players can teleport, opening up new angles and giving him the potential to hold sites down on his lonesome.
In addition to this, you can place traps using Trademark to get information about enemies even if you are not at that particular site. His ultimate, Tour de Force, will summon a sniper rifle which will surely save the dedicated sniper credits as it mitigates the need to buy an Operator.
