D&D 5E - Can characters that have drunk a Potion of Giant Strength hit successfully a magic weapons

Hi everybody,
quite a strange question: pretty much what the title says - if a character drinks a potion of hill giant strength, or a similar potion, can he successfully hit a "magic weapons only vulnerable" monster with an unarmed attack, a fist, or a kick?
I don't think so, anyway....
